For our client, we are seeking a Managing Director, Fundraising Strategy & Operations to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will support high-impact work that contributes directly to business performance and team success. You will collaborate across functions to move priorities forward, solve complex problems, and deliver measurable outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategic direction and day-to-day execution in a fast-moving environment.

Location: Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $140,104 – $189,075 annually

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of Resource Development’s operating model
  • Oversee fundraising systems and CRM strategy to enhance efficiency
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and revenue performance tracking
  • Build and scale a modern prospect research and pipeline strategy
  • Establish portfolio management standards for visibility into revenue
  • Deliver executive-level reporting and dashboards for strategic insights
  • Optimize processes and workflows for operational effectiveness
  • Develop a high-performing Strategy & Operations team

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, business transformation, or related fields
  • Proven experience leading leaders in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven environments is advantageous
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on enterprise alignment
  • Expertise in operational excellence and process design
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills
  • Financial acumen for budgeting and forecasting
  • Ability to influence stakeholders with executive presence
