Are you looking for a rewarding part-time job that allows you to make a difference in the lives of young people? Are you 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a passion for working with youth? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the Youth Van Driver position at our organization!
As a Youth Van Driver, you will be supporting daily operations of transportation program for designated Club location. Drivers are responsible for the safety and transport of youth to and from Club activities as assigned in a safe and timely manner.
You will also assist with loading and unloading materials, goods, and equipment as needed.
Youth Drivers typically work from 1:00 pm-4:00pm for afterschool pick ups during the school year. Hours subject to change as needed by the Unit Director.
To be successful as a Youth Van Driver, you should have:
– A high school diploma or equivalent
– A valid driver’s license
– Be 21 years old
– A clean driving record and background check
– Experience working with youth
– CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
· Ability to obtain Class B license within 3 months of hire and Youth Bus endorsement within 6 months of hire
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $22.35 per hour
