Wastewater Assistant Lead Operator
The Town of Medfield, MA is seeking applicants for the position of Wastewater Assistant Lead Operator. The position performs the necessary laboratory, operational and maintenance duties to ensure the efficient and continuous operation of the Wastewater Treatment Facility and is responsible for the direct supervision of the operational and maintenance personnel in the absence of the Lead Operator. This role ensures organizational efficiency in the application of prescribed policies, procedures, and methods.
Applicants for this position are required to hold a Wastewater Grade 6 License. High School Diploma, 3+ years of experience in wastewater, preferably in the public sector working with local government, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A valid Massachusetts Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) with Air Brakes endorsement and 2A Hoisting License are desirable.
Full time, benefit eligible position, Hourly range: $33.44 – $44.13 DOQ.
