Position: Volunteer Coordinator for Sunnybrook Hospital

This role requires a passionate individual with strong leadership skills. You will oversee a portfolio of 150-200 volunteers and manage all aspects of volunteer program management, including recruitment, training, and performance supervision. Your expertise will promote community engagement and support hospital objectives while ensuring alignment with equity, diversity, and inclusion practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead quality volunteer programs across multiple sites
• Manage recruitment, orientation, and training of volunteers
• Supervise and monitor a diverse portfolio of volunteers
• Facilitate collaboration and best practices in volunteer management
• Utilize Better Impact software for volunteer documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required;
Volunteer Management Certificate is a plus
• Significant experience in volunteer management or HR
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and volunteer management software
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage changing priorities
