Position: Voluntary Board Directors for TAIBU

TAIBU Community Health Centre is inviting dedicated volunteers to become members of its Board of Directors. Board members will play a crucial role in enhancing health outcomes within the Black community of Toronto. This opportunity allows for collaboration on strategic initiatives that focus on equity, wellness, and the elimination of health disparities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in nine hybrid board meetings every year
• Join two sub-committees to focus on key initiatives
• Lead governance that reflects community values
• Engage with health programs and initiatives at TAIBU
• Encourage diversity and representation at all levels
Requirements:
• Commitment to enhancing community health
• Welcoming applications from diverse backgrounds
• Individuals aged 65 and older particularly encouraged
• Legal expertise is an asset but not required
