Position Title: Tween Coordinator
Full or Part-Time Position: M-F, 9:30am-6:30pm or 2:00pm – 6:30pm
Salary: Based on experience.
Job Duties
Engage and inspire young people specifically aged 10 – 12 to learn and grow to be responsible adults. Plan, implement and supervise age appropriate activities for those in 4th – 5th grade. Maintain close daily contact with Club Staff, Club members, and supervisor to receive/ provide information, discuss issues, and advise/ counsel. Must monitor and evaluate situations quickly using good judgement to assess situations and make decisions. Create and maintain a safe environment for members and adults within the program space. Communicate with parents as necessary regarding behavior issues and Club events. Partner with Teen Coordinator with possible scheduled events.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children
- Patience and understanding for youth and adolescence
- Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth and adolescence
- Valid state driver’s license
- Positive and energetic attitude!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
