EA Family Services is seeking a Transporter / Visitation Monitor to support foster youth served through our Grass Valley office. EA Family Services is a nonprofit agency with locations throughout Northern California, dedicated to providing safe, nurturing homes for foster youth and supportive services for young adults transitioning out of foster care.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with youth and want to play a meaningful role in helping children and families stay connected while ensuring safe and reliable transportation.
Position Responsibilities
- Transport foster youth to family visits, court appointments, school activities, medical appointments, and other approved destinations.
- Monitor visits between youth and family members when assigned.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of supervised visits and transportation activities.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and confidentiality of youth at all times.
- Communicate professionally with agency staff, caregivers, families, and community partners.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of driving experience.
- Clean driving record required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, as hours may vary.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk up and down a flight of stairs.
- Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience working with children, youth, or families is preferred.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Successful completion of DOJ, FBI, and CAIC background clearances.
- Ability to meet all agency employment requirements.
