Position: Summer Community Service Worker Role

This position is available through the Canada Summer Jobs program, where you’ll collaborate with dedicated staff to offer essential support to community members. You’ll engage with individuals affected by addiction, homelessness, and more, providing critical services while gaining valuable experience in social services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor safety at the community hub desk
• Organize and manage donations across multiple sites
• Maintain accurate program data and inventory records
• Prepare harm reduction kits and assist with community needs
• Aid in breakfast and lunch service delivery
Requirements:
• Experience working with vulnerable populations
• Excellent verbal and written English communication
• Background in social sciences or related education
• Vulnerable sector check is mandatory
• Legal eligibility to work in British Columbia
