Wild Horizon Farm is a non-profit animal rescue organization nestled in the rolling hills of the Los Angeles Forest. We rescue, rehabilitate, and provide forever homes for animals facing euthanasia, abuse, or neglect. Many, especially our dogs, are trained and adopted into loving homes, while others remain with us as part of our family.
Our work goes beyond rescue. We believe in the transformative bond between humans and animals, and we’re committed to providing experiences, and educating the community about the urgent need to protect these often-overlooked creatures.

Professional animal care needed at a full animal ranch and sanctuary in Lake Hughes on an independently owned, 20 acre ranch near Lake Hughes. Experienced ranch care needed performing evening and morning animal chores on ranch with dogs, horses, goats, small pigs, donkey.
15 – 20 hours a week. More experienced professionals may take less time and will be compensated more for their experience.
MUST be available weekdays early am, Some weekend times needed but by agreement.
Experience with large dogs and horses preferred!
Looking for folks with reliable transportation within 30-40 min commute. Car must be able to drive on dirt roads.
Available for TRADE a trailer spot, water and electric included – for 10 to 12 hours a week help. Additional hours to earn wage!
Responsibilities: feeding/exercising animals, stall cleaning, watering plants, learning and performing animal medical first aid
Our ideal candidate is good at communication, dedicated and timely, thorough and detail oriented, and has the willingness to learn and go the extra mile for these animals.
Benefits: Wednesdays and Sundays off (permanent schedule is open to discussion)
