Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate mental health programs, workshops, and outreach activities tailored to diverse community needs
- Collaborate with local organizations, healthcare providers, and volunteers to expand program reach and effectiveness
- Provide direct support and guidance to program participants, ensuring they receive appropriate resources and referrals
- Monitor program progress through data collection, reporting, and evaluation to measure impact and identify areas for improvement
- Advocate for mental health awareness by organizing campaigns, informational sessions, and community events
- Maintain accurate records of program activities, participant engagement, and feedback to ensure compliance with organizational standards
- Stay informed about current mental health trends, best practices, and policy changes to continually enhance program quality
Experience
- Proven experience in mental health services, social work, counseling or related fields with a passion for community outreach
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to engage diverse audiences effectively and empathetically
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members, partners, and community stakeholders
- Knowledge of mental health issues, resources, and referral pathways is highly desirable
- Experience in program development or project management is a plus
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to fostering inclusive environments that promote mental well-being
