Project Manager III:
Our client is seeking a Project Manager III to lead complex information systems initiatives that support strategic business objectives within a regulated healthcare environment. This role is ideal for an experienced project management professional who excels at coordinating cross-functional teams, driving projects from initiation through completion, and delivering successful outcomes while balancing competing priorities.
This role is a remote role based in Oregon. Applicants located in Washington, Nevada, and Arizona may be considered and must work PST hours.
Project Manager III Responsibilities:
- Lead medium and large-scale information systems projects from planning through implementation, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and business objectives are achieved.
- Independently manage multiple concurrent projects while providing leadership on complex, enterprise-level initiatives as needed.
- Coordinate and guide cross-functional operational and technical teams to ensure effective collaboration and successful project delivery.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and status updates using project management best practices.
- Partner with stakeholders across business and technical functions to identify project needs, resolve issues, and support informed decision-making.
- Monitor project progress, proactively address risks and obstacles, and implement solutions to keep initiatives on track.
- Support projects within a healthcare or managed care environment while ensuring alignment with applicable organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize project management tools to maintain documentation, track deliverables, and promote project transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Manager III Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of related professional experience.
- At least 5 years of direct experience managing projects, including ownership of project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Demonstrated success independently leading medium and large-scale projects, with experience supporting complex enterprise initiatives.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing information systems projects.
- At least 3 years of experience leading cross-functional operational and technical teams.
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the healthcare or managed care industry.
- Hands-on experience using Smartsheet is required.
- Experience with ServiceNow is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting projects involving state health plans, healthcare agencies, or other government healthcare organizations is highly valued.
