The Oasis Program Manager ensures the publication of three 60-page class catalogs per year. Other duties include recruitment of instructors and classes, website maintenance/updates, and social media posting. Attention to detail, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and copy editing are essential. The Program Manager reports to the Executive Director.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a small staff required.
Graphic design and/or website software skills a plus.
Some travel required for offsite classes.
Computer platforms used include:
Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, One Drive, Dropbox, Woo Commerce, Word Press, Oasis Database, and Mail Chimp.
Other Information/Requirements:
Albuquerque Oasis is a nonprofit organization specializing in older adult education through lectures, art, hikes, walks, exercise, and health and wellness classes. We are a part of a national network through the Oasis Institute in St. Louis, MO.
