Company Description The US Priory of the Order of St John is part of a worldwide humanitarian charity and British royal order of chivalry whose mission is to prevent and relieve sickness and injury and enhance health and well-being globally. The US Priory’s fundraising efforts primarily support the St John Eye Hospital Group. Role Description The Program Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Washington, DC, supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of programs and initiatives of the US Priory. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with program management activities, responding to inquiries from members and supporters, and maintaining accurate documentation and records. The Program Associate will collaborate closely with staff, volunteers, and external partners, contributing to event coordination, communications, and administrative tasks that ensure smooth and effective operations. This role requires a commitment to the mission and values of the Order and the ability to work collaboratively in a small, mission-driven team environment.

Qualifications

  • Program Management skills, including organizing activities, tracking deliverables, and supporting implementation of initiatives.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to collaborate with staff, volunteers, donors, and external partners.
  • Analytical Skills and Research capabilities to gather, interpret, and present information that supports program planning and evaluation.
  • Ability to produce clear written materials, such as reports, summaries, and briefing documents, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, spreadsheet and presentation tools) and comfort with databases or CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team.
