About This Role
We are looking for an assistant teacher for our Pre-K classroom, working with children ages 3-5. We are a nonprofit Christian preschool in Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate could work 8am-3pm Monday-Thursday, with occasional Fridays.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in classroom management of children ages 3-5
- Create a safe and welcoming environment
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate behavior for children ages 3-5
- Send parents activity updates throughout the day via Brightwheel app
Requirements
- IVP Fingerprint clearance card
- Willing to be background checked
- At least 6 months experience working with children ages 2-5, or education in a related area to Early Childhood Education
- Ability to walk up and down stairs
