Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Non Profit Program & Administrative Coordinator (Part-time) for a growing, mission-driven nonprofit organization. This is a hybrid role based in Jacksonville, FL.

Position Overview

The Program & Development Coordinator will support day-to-day operations, program coordination, and development initiatives for a growing nonprofit organization focused on domestic violence and abuse support. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive individual who thrives in a startup environment and is passionate about supporting survivor-centered programs. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, impact-driven work while helping build and streamline internal processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling, communications, and administrative workflows across programs and leadership
  • Support program logistics including events, screenings, and community initiatives
  • Assist with grant writing, reporting, and tracking deliverables
  • Support fundraising efforts including donor communications and campaign coordination
  • Maintain and organize documents, systems, and internal processes using Google Workspace
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve operational efficiency and support organizational growth

Qualifications

  • Experience working within the domestic violence, abuse prevention, or survivor support space
  • Experience with grant writing and supporting grant-related processes
  • Experience supporting fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, or development activities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation And Benefits

This part-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offers a pay rate of $26/hour, with the potential to transition into a full-time position as the organization grows. Additional benefits may be available upon full-time conversion.
