. We are seeking a Member Engagement Specialist to join our
dynamic
, creative, fun, and supportive Member Engagement team! In this role you will play a key role in enhancing the member experience by administering ASIS’s online community, Connects, and supporting member engagement efforts across various initiatives.
Reporting to the Director of Member Engagement, you will support efforts to increase
community engagement
, provide technical support, and ensure seamless coordination of member retention campaigns. In addition, you will help recognize outstanding contributions to the profession and ASIS by supporting ASIS’ Awards Program while providing administrative support for the CSO Center, ensuring
efficient operations
and excellent member services. The most successful candidate will possess:
At least 3-4 years of experience, ideally working in an association or non-profit environment with the opportunity to interact with members and/or volunteers. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience coordinating and/or providing related staff support for a host of activities including projects, events, community and program management, database maintenance, and content entry systems. Experience administering an online community, preferably run on Higher Logic.
Experience supporting customers by providing technical and non-technical support to ensure optimal use of the platform. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and listen well – comfort with interacting with
diverse
populations while always providing high-level customer service. Must be a good problem solver and facilitator.? Must have strong
attention to detail
, great organizational skills, and excellent time management.
Good business writer.? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Experience with
