Job Overview:

The Jewish Federation & Foundation of Northeast Florida is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive Marketing Assistant to support our communications, events promotion, and digital presence. This role is key to engaging the community and sharing our mission in a dynamic, visual, and impactful way. If you’re passionate about digital storytelling, have a knack for design, and are comfortable juggling multiple projects, we’d love to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITES (include but are not limited to):

Assist with defining and coordinating a website overhaul.

Keep current website updated (events, news, etc.).

Design marketing material using Canva or other design software.

Help maintain the website’s Community Calendar and provide troubleshooting support.

Prepare and schedule posts for social media channels.

Support Annual Campaign initiatives including direct mail pieces, email campaigns, and video strategy.

Represent the organization and Marketing department at offsite events and committee meetings.

Provide backup support for the Marketing Manager.

PERFORMANCE QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Proficiency in Canva and/or graphic design tools required

Proficiency in using and scheduling across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)

Experience with website maintenance and content creation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Strong multitasking and organizational skills to support multiple programs simultaneously

Professional demeanor and the ability to represent the Jewish Federation & Foundation across diverse community settings

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum two years of college (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)

2-3 years of experience in a nonprofit setting preferred

2+ years of experience in Marketing or Digital Marketing

Familiarity with Social Media strategy and SEO concepts a plus

Knowledge of or willingness to learn about Jewish culture and the local Jewish community

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods

Ability to lift and move up to 20 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Weekends as needed
