Teachers sing, dance, craft, and explore as they instill curiosity and confidence in preschoolers. Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude are a must! Qualifications:
- A high school diploma and 2 years of experience working with children or youth
- Education in Child Development, Education, Human Services or related field is highly preferred. (Individuals with related degrees do NOT need 2 years of experience.)
Preschool teachers must provide 4 clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal Background, FBI, and NSOR), two written references, and a current physical with TB test.
Responsibilities
– Plan and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of preschool-aged children.
– Foster a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
– Utilize effective communication skills with students, families, and fellow staff members.
– Incorporate hands-on activities and educational games to enhance learning experiences.
– Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational program.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 – $18.00 per hour
