INTERN, CLIMATE ADAPTATION KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
CARE is an international NGO with local staff and community partners in 100 countries. We create local solutions to poverty and inequality and we seek dignity for everyone every day and during times of crisis. These solutions have a broad range, from disaster response to food and nutrition to education and work for women and girls to healthy mothers and children.

Our staff live where they work, which makes us effective at understanding the challenges they face. We’ve been doing this for 75 years, since World War II. It started with the world’s first CARE Package® of food for the post-war hungry in Europe.

SCOPE OF WORK
The purpose of this internship is to support the Resilient Futures strategy and team through the development of key knowledge products for both internal and external audiences. The Resilient Futurea team advances CARE’s work to improve the climate resilience of 30 million people around the world and these knowledge products will help support this effort.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Outreach plan for NY Climate Week and COP 32 for key CARE deliverables.
- Capacity statement for Climate Related SMEs;
- Updated Documents on El Nino for HQ and field team support
