Freelance Restaurant Outreach Coordinator – Chicago Jobs in Remote at Greater River North Business Association
We are a Chicago nonprofit organization looking for an outgoing, professional freelancer to help recruit restaurants for our annual restaurant crawl.
This is not an event planning position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, speaking with restaurant general managers, event managers and marketing contacts, explaining our event, following up and securing participation.
Our goal is to secure 22 participating restaurants.
We will provide the restaurant list, event information, participation details, email materials and signup link. Your role will primarily involve phone outreach, email follow-up and keeping track of responses until restaurants are confirmed.
Hospitality, restaurant sales, business development, membership sales or phone outreach experience is a plus. Knowledge of the Chicago restaurant community would be especially helpful.
Compensation:
$20 per hour
Plus $10 for each restaurant that officially confirms participation
We are looking for someone who is personable, persistent and professional and who isn’t afraid to make calls and follow up more than once.
This is a short-term freelance/contract assignment with the opportunity to work with us on future events and outreach projects if it’s a good fit.
