We’re looking for an experienced Accountant from the nonprofit sector to support financial reporting, compliance, and month-end close while partnering with leadership on financial insights. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and support the monthly and annual close
- Produce financial statements and assist with audits and regulatory reporting
- Support AP/AR activity, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain internal controls and assist with process and system improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- Prior nonprofit accounting experience (required)
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
