Position: Female Youth Worker with Community Focus

In this position, you will help foster healthy relationships between youth and their environment while engaging closely with mental health supports. Your efforts will contribute to building self-confidence and self-esteem through targeted activities, along with driving positive community interactions. You’ll also collaborate with family services to provide holistic support to youth in need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Refer children to appropriate services based on their needs
• Promote land-based activities for youth engagement
• Develop and implement self-esteem boosting programs for females
• Collaborate with families and support teams effectively
• Maintain service statistics and document all youth interactions
Requirements:
• Certificate or diploma in Human Services or similar
• Relevant work experience in youth support
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clear abstract
• Understanding of Cree culture and historical contexts
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs as needed
