Executive Assistant

Opportunities for Otsego is seeking a flexible team player to join our Admin team working closely with our Chief Executive Officer in a wide variety of agency-wide responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

Communicate on behalf of the CEO with Board members, donors, employees and community members on a regular basis

Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO

Prepare CSBG (Community Services Block Grant) refunding applications, program progress reports, and annual program reports

Maintain corporate records relating to the board of directors, including the preparation of minutes, board and committee packets and board files; assure board documentation is up to date

Oversee a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO including preparation of purchase orders and check requests, correspondence, and supplies inventory

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in business or non-profit administration or related degree; five years’ experience supporting executive management, preferably in a non-profit organization; experience in internal and external communications, partnership development, and fundraising; proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms; valid, unrestricted New York State driver’s license.
