About Us
We’re an arcade and private event space in San Francisco built for fun, connection, and community. While corporate events are our bread and butter, we’re expanding into curated public and community-driven programming—think run club meetups, singles mixers, themed nights, chef pop-ups, and school fundraisers. We’re looking for a creative, entrepreneurial Event Development Manager to lead that charge.
Role Overview
This hybrid role blends strategy, marketing, and operations. You’ll own the public events calendar, produce buzz-worthy experiences, and grow our audience through partnerships, creative campaigns, and community engagement. From chef collabs and school fundraisers to thematic parties and cultural meetups—you’ll bring ideas to life and help shape our venue’s vibe and visibility.
Responsibilities
Event Strategy & Production
Curate and produce a diverse, high-impact monthly event calendar
Lead collaborations with chefs, food vendors, and pop-up operators
Develop concepts for recurring and one-off public events
Handle pre-event planning, vendor coordination, staffing, and day-of execution
Community & Fundraising Partnerships
Build relationships with local schools, non-profits, and civic groups
Host and support fundraisers and cause-driven events
Collaborate with community organizations to co-host or promote gatherings
Marketing & Social Media
Manage promotion of all events (email, social, digital)
Create or oversee social content and advertising tied to events
Write event descriptions, coordinate visual assets, and track performance
Grow attendance through organic and paid campaigns
Business Development
Identify and develop partnerships that drive foot traffic and brand awareness
Pitch event concepts to external groups and manage inbound event ideas
Track ROI and analyze which types of events grow the brand and bottom line
Who You Are
3–5 years experience in event production, hospitality, or experiential marketing
Strong working knowledge of social media marketing (especially Instagram)
Experience with digital advertising and/or email marketing tools
Food lover who understands pop-up and culinary culture
Connected to or excited to plug into SF’s nonprofit, school, and civic communities
Hands-on and resourceful, just as comfortable planning as you are executing
Comfortable with occasional evening and weekend work for key events
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
