Job Summary:
The position is responsible for leading the association's member committees, industry programs and events, partnerships, and educational initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of point of care marketing and leverages expertise to develop relevant industry programming, educational experiences, strategic partnerships, and engagement opportunities that advance the association's mission and growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Support the President on the Annual Summit and pharma events by managing program logistics, speaker coordination, and on-the-ground execution; the President owns strategic direction and the event agency relationship for these events.
· Oversee third-party projects for the development of educational initiatives.
· Support the President on the organization's overall marketing strategy, including channel mix, audience targeting, and the marketing calendar. Own the management of the Content Strategist & Editorial Manager (editorial strategy), Graphic Designer (design) and the Communications & Digital Marketing Coordinator (execution).
· Coordinate and execute all third-party partnerships and barter agreements that support organizational objectives and member value.
· Support the President on developing, launching, and managing industry programs, member engagement initiatives and educational offerings that advance the association's mission.
· Support the President with the planning and execution of Candid Conversation events and client engagement programs, including agenda development, speaker coordination, logistics, promotion, and post-event follow-up.
· Partner with industry leaders to identify opportunities for collaboration, thought leadership, educational programming, and member engagement; the Content Strategist & Editorial Manager develops the resulting thought leadership content.
· Develop event presentations, speaker decks, committee presentations, and executive-level materials that are event-ready and require minimal graphic design support, using narrative and script content developed by the Content Strategist & Editorial Manager.
· Manage the Non-BOD Committee chairs and ensure all committee materials are prepared in advance of the meetings (agenda, discussion topics, strategic priorities); board-level committees (including membership and government affairs) are owned by the President.
· Partner with the Committee Chairs on follow-up actions, and volunteer engagement to ensure committees achieve strategic objectives.
· Collaborate with the President to cultivate, maintain, and expand sponsor and partner relationships that support strategic initiatives and event success.
· Measure program effectiveness, attendee satisfaction, and engagement outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Demonstrated knowledge of the point of care marketing ecosystem and the ability to identify industry trends, emerging topics, thought leadership opportunities, and educational programming relevant to members and partners.
· Demonstrated expertise developing and managing industry-focused educational programs, executive roundtables, networking initiatives, events, and/or thought leadership experiences.
· Experience working directly with volunteer leaders, committee chairs, boards, and executive leadership.
· Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and partnership management skills with the ability to engage sponsors, members, industry leaders, and strategic partners.
· Strong program leadership, stakeholder engagement, and organizational management skills.
· Knowledge of association committee structures, volunteer leadership engagement, and governance best practices.
· Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
· Experience developing and improving program delivery processes, member engagement strategies, event execution workflows, and organizational efficiencies.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, dashboards, formulas, and pivot tables.
· Advanced presentation development skills with the ability to create executive presentations, speaker decks, educational materials, committee materials, and event-ready content requiring minimal design support.
· Proficiency with CRM, project management, and business systems (e.g., Monday.com, databases, and reporting tools).

Education and Training Required:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, or a related field.
Experience Required:
· Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in association management, member engagement, program development, event management, partnership development, sponsorship management, or a related leadership role.
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the point of care marketing, healthcare media, healthcare communications, pharmaceutical marketing, or related healthcare industry required.
· Demonstrated experience planning and executing events, educational programs, executive roundtables, and member engagement initiatives.
· Experience creating executive presentations, event materials, and committee meeting content.
Language Ability:
· Ability to communicate effectively with members, sponsors, volunteers, committee leaders, executive leadership, industry partners, and vendors. Ability to prepare and present professional correspondence, reports, program materials, meeting agendas, presentations, sponsorship proposals, and event-related communications. Ability to facilitate discussions, lead meetings, and present information to committees, leadership groups, and external stakeholders.
Mathematical Ability:
· Ability to analyze event, program, sponsorship, membership, and engagement metrics. Ability to interpret budgets, performance data, survey results, participation trends, and key performance indicators. Ability to utilize data and reporting tools to support strategic planning, program development, and organizational decision-making.

· Ability to identify opportunities to enhance member engagement, program effectiveness, and organizational growth. Ability to evaluate complex situations, establish priorities, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and develop practical solutions in a fast-paced environment. Physical Demands: Ability to work in an office setting & use standard office equipment.
Work Environment: Remote with occasional travel for events and meetings.
