Our client is seeking an experienced nonprofit fundraising leader to oversee development strategy, major gifts, donor engagement, fundraising events, and community partnerships for a mission-driven organization in Sonoma County.
This is an opportunity for a relationship-driven Development professional who can build on an established fundraising program while identifying new opportunities for revenue growth and community impact.
What You’ll Do
- Lead fundraising strategy across major gifts, annual giving, donor engagement, and stewardship.
- Personally cultivate and manage relationships with major donors and prospects.
- Partner with executive leadership and the Board on donor cultivation and solicitation.
- Develop donor pipelines, fundraising campaigns, revenue goals, and performance metrics.
- Provide strategic oversight of fundraising events and community partnerships.
- Oversee donor CRM strategy, analytics, reporting, and database operations.
- Lead staff and external partners supporting Development and community initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of progressive nonprofit Development, philanthropy, or fundraising experience.
- Proven success generating measurable fundraising revenue.
- Strong major gifts experience, including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership and Boards.
- Knowledge of donor CRM systems and fundraising analytics.
- Leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree required.

This is an on-site position in Sonoma County, California. Evening and weekend participation will occasionally be required for fundraising and community events.
Pay: $100,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
