Development Director
Join our small, mission-driven nonprofit as the Development Director. This role leads fundraising, donor and community relations, grants and communications. Ideal for a relationship-centered professional who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Lead annual fundraising plan, individual giving, grants and sponsorships.
– Manage donor cultivation, stewardship and database tracking.
– Manage research, creation and submission of grant proposals and reports.
– Oversee external communications including web content, newsletters, social media, donor thank-you correspondence and branding.
– Represent the organization at community meetings and events.
– Plan and execute fundraising and donor engagement events.
QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) in marketing or related field
– Three or more years of nonprofit fundraising or development experience
– Strong interpersonal skills
– Strong writing and communication skills
– Successful track record with individual donors and/or grants
– Ability to work independently in a small nonprofit environment
– CRM/donor database, Google Suite and Canva experience preferred
– Some experience or training in the mental health field preferred
