Summary:
The Development Coordinator provides operational, analytical, and administrative support to the Development Department to advance Pregnancy Aid Clinic’s fundraising goals. This position is responsible for gift processing, donor database management, donor communications, reporting, event coordination, and major gift support while ensuring exceptional accuracy, confidentiality, and donor service.
The Development Coordinator utilizes Raiser’s Edge NXT and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate donor records, prepare reports, analyze giving trends, and support strategic fundraising efforts. The successful candidate is proactive, organized, analytical, service-oriented, and takes ownership of projects from start to finish. This individual anticipates department needs, identifies opportunities for improvement, and consistently contributes to advancing Pregnancy Aid Clinic’s mission through collaboration, accountability, and a commitment to excellence.
Essential Functions
• Process and accurately record all charitable gifts, including checks, cash, credit cards, online donations, stocks, matching gifts, recurring gifts, and gifts-in-kind.
• Must possess demonstrated hands-on experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT and be proficient in utilizing the platform for gift processing, donor database management, reporting, constituent record maintenance, donor segmentation, and fundraising analytics.
• Generate gift acknowledgements, tribute letters, tax receipts, PAC Drive certificates, pledge reminders, and other donor correspondence in a timely manner.
• Maintain the integrity of all donor records within Raiser’s Edge NXT by ensuring accurate data entry, coding, reporting, and constituent information.
• Coordinate donor lists, recurring gift reports, lapsed donor reports, solicitation codes, donor segmentation, and mail merges.
• Reconcile fundraising income monthly with the Manager of Finance and assist with audit preparation as needed.
• Support the Executive Director by preparing donor profiles, donor meeting packets, briefing materials, board development reports, fundraising presentations, donor correspondence, and portfolio reports for major gift cultivation and stewardship.
• Analyze donor giving history, fundraising trends, campaign performance, and donor engagement by preparing recurring dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights and support fundraising decisions.
• Conduct prospect research to identify prospective individual, corporate, foundation, parish, and community partners.
• Track donor contacts, proposals, meeting follow-up, and stewardship activities within Raiser’s Edge NXT to ensure timely relationship management.
• Provide administrative and operational support for annual fundraising campaigns, grants, donor communications, parish outreach, and other development initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics for donor events, stewardship activities, donor tours, and the annual Gala, including sponsorship tracking, registrations, event materials, volunteer coordination, and follow-up.
• Manage constituent programs, including Knights of Columbus ASAP and other partner initiatives.
• Respond promptly and professionally to donor, volunteer, parish, and community inquiries.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Development Department.

• Commitment to continuous improvement and a willingness to learn new technologies and fundraising best practices.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to five years of nonprofit fundraising or development experience required.
• Demonstrated experience with donor database management, gift processing, fundraising reporting, donor relations, event coordination, and major gift support.
• Experience with Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred.
