Position: CRM Implementation Specialist (Non Profit)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Nonprofit CRM Implementation Specialist to support our transition from Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge to Donor Perfect. This is a pivotal, project-based role ideal for someone who understands the unique data structures and terminology used in the nonprofit sector, and who thrives in hybrid work settings.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary internal point of contact for the CRM migration project, working closely with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and vendor teams to ensure a smooth and successful transition. The go-live date is targeted for October 1, 2025, with this role extending through the full implementation lifecycle, including post-launch support and optimization.

Location: Edmonton, AB
Contract Term: 6 Months (with possibility of extension)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours/week | Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (1 hour unpaid lunch)

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the project lead for the CRM implementation, managing timelines, documentation, and communication across teams.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants (based in Vancouver), Donor Perfect representatives, and technical teams (e.g., architecture team) to ensure alignment and progress.

Facilitate data mapping, migration, and testing from Raiser’s Edge to Donor Perfect.

Support training, documentation, and change management initiatives for end-users.

Identify and resolve issues or risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide post-implementation support and optimization.

Required Qualifications:

Experience working with donor databases in the nonprofit sector; familiarity with concepts such as campaigns, funds, appeal codes, and direct mail programs.

Previous involvement in a CRM software implementation (pre- and post-launch phases).

Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience withDonor Perfect and/or Raiser’s Edge.

Familiarity with data migration, CRM configuration, and user training.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

Expectation to work in-office approximately one day per week, with the remainder remote.
