Position: Become a CoSA Community Volunteer
Make a meaningful impact by volunteering with the St. Leonard’s Society of Hamilton’s CoSA Program. Support Core Members transitioning from incarceration and foster safer communities through accountability.
In this volunteer role, you will be an essential part of the Circles of Support and Accountability initiative. Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to engage with individuals who have a history of sexual offending, assisting them in their process of reintegration. By providing the necessary support, you can encourage positive lifestyle choices and self-understanding in Core Members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work in pairs or small teams with other community volunteers
• Engage with Core Members for effective support and reintegration
• Aid in fulfilling practical needs for everyday life
• Encourage self-reflection and guide toward positive choices
• Help enhance community safety through active engagement
Requirements:
