We are seeking an experienced Clinic Manager with FQHC experience with at least recent 3 years+ of management experience in a nonprofit or FQHC clinic or public hospital outpatient services to oversee daily operations in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who can optimize clinic efficiency, support staff development, and enhance patient care while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee clinic operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
• Manage and mentor support staff, including Medical Assistants, Referral/Authorizations Coordinators, and Front Desk personnel.
• Implement and optimize processes related to scheduling, medical records, referrals, and patient flow.
• Act as an Epic Super User, providing support and training to staff.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, accreditation standards, and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct audits, support quality assurance initiatives, and maintain an audit-ready environment.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership on training, workflow improvements, and patient experience enhancements.
• Handle staffing, performance evaluations, and employee development.
• Manage clinic inventory, equipment maintenance, and facility operations.
MUST HAVE MINIMUM Qualifications:
✔ 3+ years of recent managerial experience in a nonprofit or FQHC healthcare setting, in a clinic or hospital outpatient services department or community health clinic or FQHC is a MUST.
✔ Strong leadership, organizational, and operational management skills.
✔ Experience with Epic or similar EHR systems.
✔ Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare compliance, and accreditation processes.
✔ Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a huge PLUS!
✔ bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a nonprofit clinic setting.
Must reside in the area today. No candidates will be considered out of state. This role is 100% on site and looking to hire immediately.
