Role Description The Chicago–Fundraising Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chicago, Illinois, responsible for leading face to face fundraising initiatives on behalf of the NGOs that we represent.

This position oversees the planning and execution of day to day operations focused on monthly donor acquisition via street face to face field fundraising. Day-to-day tasks include developing fundraising strategies in the city of Chicago, monitoring performance metrics, coordinating with internal teams and preparing reports on campaign outcomes.

The Fundraising Manager will guide outreach efforts, support/train staff and donor engagement activities, and ensure that all initiatives reflect best practices. The role also includes mentoring team members, maintaining strong communication with stakeholders, and identifying opportunities to grow donor communities and long-term impact.

Qualifications

  • Experience in face to face fundraising or in any sales related position is encouraged but not mandatory.
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to build relationships with donors, nonprofit partners, and internal teams.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of Philanthropy and Charities to understand donor motivations and sector best practices.
  • Candidates should possess experience with campaign strategy, training, response management and performance analysis.
  • Ability to work on-site in the city of Chicago, collaborate in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate commitment to social impact and community-focused work.
