Benefits Navigator / Case Manager, 6-month assignment
Nonprofit organization is immediately hiring Benefits Navigators / Case Managers to design, implement and monitor individual benefits program plans for clients. We have 6-month contract positions available in both Trenton and Burlington, NJ.
These are full-time positions where you will work Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM and earn $28 an hour. Plus, you will enjoy weekly pay and be eligible for health benefits.
To qualify for these Case Manager opportunities, you must have a reliable vehicle and a valid Driver’s License. You will be required to drive your own vehicle for work and will receive a $0.70 per mile reimbursement. We also require:
A High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years of human services experience OR
Relevant professional credentials such as CPRP, CRC, or CADC and 2+ years of related experience OR
A combination of 1 or more years of college and related work or life experience together equaling four years OR
A bachelor’s degree in human services field, rehabilitation, or a related discipline.
As a Benefits Navigator / Case Manager, you will be responsible for assessing client needs and investigating their eligibility for benefits. You will also be expected to:
Counsel and aid individuals and families requiring agency assistance.
Maintain client records and complete required documentation.
Coordinate client activities.
Assist clients with accessing services such as job training, counseling, housing, and medical services.
Network with other providers to generate community resources for participants.
Provide supportive counseling in individual and group settings.
Transport clients to appointments, as needed.
