About Us: The Vellore CMC Foundation’s mission is to support the Christian Medical College & Hospital of Vellore, India (CMC Vellore) in its pursuit of excellence in medical education, research and patient services.
Role: This a full-time (hybrid) role based in New York (NYC) for a dynamic candidate to support the Vellore CMC Foundation’s efforts to develop, cultivate, and manage its donors; support its volunteer workers; assure adherence to Campaign time schedules; and carefully maintain the organization’s database of donors and prospects. This individual will also play an integral role in supporting the Foundation’s communications strategies through print, online and social media. This position is a hands-on role. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, complemented by a true dedication to the Foundation’s mission and ability to responsibly steward the organization’s charitable relationships.
Required:
– Bachelor’s degree w/minimum of two years’ experience, ideally within a nonprofit communications or fundraising environment
– Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities
– Familiarity with a Donor Relationship Management (DRM) system especially, DonorPerfect is a plus
– Comfortable with Social Media platforms
