Job Description
- Work in consultation with the candidate, staff, and consulting team to develop and execute campaign strategy – including organizing, finance, coalition-building, and daily operations.
- Work with candidate to hire and manage campaign staff.
- Diligently monitor and document progress toward campaign goals, including the campaign plan and budget.
- Oversee management of the candidate’s schedule to ensure it accurately reflects the campaign’s strategic priorities.
- Maximize opportunities for engagement from the candidate’s personal network.
- Staff the candidate and other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- At least one cycle as a Campaign Manager on a Federal campaign or multiple cycles on campaigns in junior and senior roles.
- Self-starting attitude with a knack for organization and proactive problem solving.
- Ability to work effectively with grassroots and national organizations.
- Willingness to attend, as needed, campaign-related meetings and events.
- Access to a laptop, phone, and car (with valid driver’s license).
- Staff management experience.
- Willingness to work irregular hours and weekends.
- Commitment to electing Democratic candidates.
