Pay Rate Low: 33 | Pay Rate High: 45
A non-profit organization that specializes in blood donation for hospitals is seeking a couple Medical Technologists to join their growing team. This is an amazing opportunity to join a team that offers reimbursement for professional licenses, educational assistance, student loan repayment program and so much more.
Schedules Available:
- 3p-11:30p 5 days a week with rotating weekends and holidays
- 4p-12:30a 5 days a week with rotating weekends and holidays
- **Training will be on first shift for a few months
Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Pay: DOE
- 1 year: $30.80/hr
- 2-5.4years: $35.25/hr
- 5.5-9 years: $38.75/hr
- 9+ years: $42/hr
2nd shift position shift differential:
+$3.50/hr weeknights
+$8/hr hr weekends
Responsibilities:
- Accept, verify, and process incoming blood samples
- Performs various testing procedures on donor and patient specimens
- Keep documentation
- Performs essential functions of the lab technician and lab assistant as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related life science
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist
Valid and current Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license in Immunohematology or Blood Banking
