Role Description
This is an on-site internship role for an Accountant, based in Chandigarh. The Accountant will handle a variety of tasks, including maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulations. The role also involves auditing financial data, reconciling accounts, and supporting the finance team with day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks or Tally
- Strong understanding of financial principles, financial reporting, and data analysis
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and tax laws
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ongoing coursework or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Prior experience or exposure to an accounting role is a plus, but not mandatory
