Description
The Youth Minister position will aid the parish’s efforts in ministry to young people from 7th through 12th grades. This includes high school and middle school sessions (weekly Vespers and Youth Group), monthly activities, service work opportunities, and Youth Mass (monthly).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: (other duties may be assigned)
Attend and help with weekly SR CYO, JR CYO, and middle school youth activities.
Communicate to staff about youth ministry work, following up with students and filling in department on student’s lives.
Work events to provide a positive environment for teens.
Participate in parish activities with faith and good example.
Foster the involvement of young people in the life of the parish and help with volunteer activities on and off campus.
Attend Diocesan events that teens will be at (Search/YLW/Retreats) as able.
