Job Description:
Purpose: The Youth Director will coordinate youth programs for elementary through high school students, fostering their growth as disciples of Christ. The Director will exemplify personal Christian faith and worship.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop and implement engaging programs and activities for WINGS (Wednesday’s I Need God’s Strength) program, including attending Wednesday evening dinner and activities (September-May): 5:15 pm dinner, music, classes, and crafts until 6:30 pm for youth ages 3 years old through 6th grade.
Attend Sunday school, teach when needed, and prepare short lessons for the Children’s message during the service once a month.
Build and expand youth programs for grades 7-12 on Sunday evenings, organize community service projects, and encourage youth participation.
Coordinate special events, retreats, and camps.
Communicate regularly with families, volunteers, and church regarding youth events and activities; work with volunteers to plan and schedule activities.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during activities.
The Youth Director reports weekly to the pastor, maintaining constant communication about activities and plans. The position requires approximately 10 hours per week, with a salary between $18,000 and $20,000 annually. Tuition reimbursement may be available. Availability on Wednesday evenings, Sunday mornings, and evenings is essential.
