Become a Youth Services Worker Student with Raising our Children and contribute to effective youth programming and community well-being. This full-time role focuses on empowering youth and enhancing community participation.

In this position, you’ll work on youth engagement initiatives and support the creation of Youth Councils while promoting health equity. Your proven communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to develop meaningful resources and partnerships. This role is particularly suited for individuals of First Nations ancestry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support youth community programs effectively

• Promote health-related initiatives through various outreach strategies

• Mentor local youth and assist in building capacity of community workers

• Create resources and templates for program development

• Participate in committees representing SLFNHA to promote wellbeing

Requirements:

• Preference for candidates of First Nations ancestry

• Background in working with youth, especially First Nations

• Strong listening and public speaking abilities

• Technical proficiency in office-related technology

• Commitment to advocating for youth health equity
