Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Youth Development Nonprofit Fundraiser. The main responsibilities include identifying and securing funding opportunities, managing donor relationships, developing and implementing fundraising strategies, and coordinating fundraising events. Additionally, the Fundraiser will prepare funding proposals, engage with donors, sponsors, foundations and community members, and report on fundraising performance. The role requires regular communication with stakeholders and collaboration with the ILIA team to achieve fundraising goals.
Qualifications
Experience in fundraising, proposal writing, public speaking and donor management
Ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies utilizing different approaches
Ability to organize fundraising events, galas and donor dinners
Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in using fundraising databases and CRM software
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Creative and strategic thinking to maximize fundraising opportunities
Prior experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly youth development organizations
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field is preferred
