Youth Class Instructors for Art classes Jobs in Summit, NJ at The Connection
The Connection, a community-based nonprofit organization in Summit, NJ, has an opportunity for a Youth Class Instructorfor Art classes. In this role, you will provide programs for preschool age and elementary age students.
1. Instructs program class in accordance with course description and curriculum using proper terminology and accurate verbal & physical representation.
2. Creates a fun and safe learning environment for the students.
3. Responsible for being prepared for each class with appropriate instructional materials.
4. Makes recommendations regarding ordering of any equipment and/or supplies needed as well as in the design and content of new and current classes.
Qualifications
1. Art background required
2. Experience working with children is preferred
Hours
Classes will be scheduled Thursday 5-6:45pm, Friday 6-7pm
Ages – preschool age, elementary ageClasses – art samplersWhile the current schedule is set, we hope to find someone to join our team and create their desired teaching schedule for summer and the 25-26 school year.
