Executive Director
The Executive Director (ED) serves as the chief operating and fundraising leader of the Young Democrats of Nevada. The ED is responsible for advancing the organization’s mission through strategic fundraising, external relations, program leadership, and operational execution to ensure the organization’s long-term sustainability.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as chief fundraiser for the organization, responsible for securing funds to meet YDNV’s operating needs and programming.
- Work with fundraising consultants to conduct regular donor outreach, including weekly call time.
- Cultivate, steward, and manage relationships with donors and community partners.
- Work with the President and Vice President to execute goals set by the Executive Board.
- Service as a public representative and point of contact for the YDNV.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, elected officials, political organizations, partner groups, and community leaders.
- Maintain the organization’s status as an active and recognized political organization.
- Organize and oversee YDNV’s programs, events, and activities, in alignment with the President’s strategic vision.
- Lead logistical planning and operational execution for meetings, trainings, campaigns, and other organizational functions.
- Manage administrative and procedural duties necessary for the organization’s functioning.
- Any other duties assigned by the President and Treasurer
