Position: YMCA Youth Programs Coordinator Role
Empower youth initiatives as the YMCA Youth Programs Coordinator. Oversee the Youth Exchanges Canada and Youth Peace Network to create enriching participant experiences.
In this full-time temporary role, you will provide essential leadership for youth programs, focusing on logistical coordination and participant relations. You will ensure program success through training, travel arrangements, and ongoing communication with stakeholders.
Your role is key to fostering a sense of community and cultural understanding among participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruit and select participants for the YPN
• Develop administrative and programming timelines
• Follow up post-exchange with groups in your region
• Support fundraising efforts through budget development
• Facilitate face-to-face and virtual participant support
Requirements:
• 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Experience with logistics and program management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Must undergo a Criminal Record check
