Our client seeks a passionate and results-driven Workforce Development Managing Director to lead their Detroit campus. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for the campuss overall strategic direction, fundraising, community engagement, and operational success. You will also lead a talented team to execute and advance our clients mission of providing tech training and career pathways to underserved individuals.
About the Role
Fundraising & Business
***** Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure financial support from various sources, including foundations, corporations, and individuals. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, community partners, and employers. Represent our client at industry events, conferences, and community gatherings.
Team & Program
***** Lead and develop a high-performing team of professionals. Oversee the delivery of high-quality tech training programs, ensuring learner success and program effectiveness. Monitor key performance indicators and track program outcomes. Collaborate with other departments across the organization to achieve shared goals.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of success in fundraising and business development.
Strong understanding of workforce development principles and the local Detroit Metro job market.
Experience working with diverse communities and a commitment to social equity.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.
