Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Grants Consultant for a short-term (4–6 weeks) engagement with our Healthcare partner. The consultant will review our existing Workday Grants setup, which was implemented by our internal team, and provide expert analysis, identify potential gaps, and implement best-practice solutions. This role requires deep Workday Grants implementation experience and a strategic approach to optimizing system configuration.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct a thorough review of the current Workday Grants setup to assess effectiveness and compliance with best practices.
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or misconfigurations and provide actionable recommendations.
Implement necessary improvements and optimizations within Workday Grants.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to the internal team for long-term system maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Workday experience, with a focus on Grants Management.
Strong background in Workday Financials, particularly Grants, Project Costing, and Fund Accounting.
Proven experience in multiple Workday Grants implementations, including configuration and optimization.
Ability to assess and diagnose system issues and implement best-practice solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in the healthcare or nonprofit sector.
Workday certifications in Grants Management or Financials.
Experience with Workday reporting and data analytics for grants.
