About The Role
The Digital Content Specialist at Interactive Strategies plays a vital role in shaping digital experiences for our clients by translating research and insights into compelling, accessible web content. Working closely with a talented team of writers, designers, and strategists, you will support end-to-end content strategies for website redesigns and new builds. Your responsibilities include creating clear, usable, and brand-aligned content, applying SEO best practices, and managing content workflows across various content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or Sitecore. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in UX writing, content strategy, accessibility, and emerging technologies like AI. You will contribute to high-profile projects and own smaller initiatives from conception to execution, all while working in a supportive, innovative environment that values your growth and creativity.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in content strategy, digital content, UX writing, or related fields
- Hands-on experience with content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or Sitecore
- Experience supporting website builds or redesign projects
- Strong writing and editing skills tailored for digital platforms
- Highly organized with excellent planning and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and web writing best practices
- Curiosity, adaptability, positive attitude, and a growth mindset
- Interest and knowledge in AI innovations and emerging digital tools
Responsibilities
- Support comprehensive content strategies for website redesigns and new builds, including audits, research, and content planning
- Translate strategic insights into clear page structures, wireframe copy, and draft content
- Write and edit digital content focused on clarity, usability, accessibility, and maintaining brand voice
- Implement SEO and web writing best practices to enhance content performance and discoverability
- Collaborate with designers to develop integrated content and visual experiences
- Manage content workflows, timelines, and deliverables for internal teams and clients
- Create, migrate, and QA content within CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or Sitecore
- Maintain consistency across client brand voices and style guidelines
- Stay informed on content trends, tools, and emerging technologies, including AI, and incorporate learnings into client work
