BOARD OF WCN SWEDEN 2026–2027
Women’s Career Network Sweden is now recruiting a new Board for Autumn 2026 – Spring 2027.
Who we are
Women’s Career Network (WCN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for women and non-binary students and young professionals in business and law. Our mission is to support and inspire the next generation of leaders by building inclusive communities and facilitating access to mentorship, career insights, and top-tier companies. WCN Sweden is the founding chapter of the organization and works closely with our international network, including WCN Finland.
A note on this year’s recruitment
WCN is currently in a phase of growth and development. This means we are placing a strong focus on:
• Clear ownership across roles
• Strong commitment and accountability
• Building a sustainable structure for the future
We are therefore looking for individuals who want to actively build and shape the organization, not just participate in it.
What we offer
By joining the WCN Sweden Board, you will:
• Take on a real leadership role with ownership of a key function
• Work closely with ambitious, driven individuals
• Build a strong professional network with companies and mentors
• Gain hands-on experience in running and developing an organization
Please note: All positions are part-time, voluntary, and unpaid.
Expectations
At WCN, we look for individuals who are both self-driven and collaborative.
As a board member, you are expected to:
• Take full ownership of your role
• Identify what needs to be done and drive it forward independently
• Communicate proactively and follow through on commitments
• Collaborate with the wider board to stay aligned
This is not a role where tasks are assigned weekly — you are expected to lead your function. Estimated time commitment: ~5–10 hours per week.
