For our client, we are seeking a VP Philanthropy-the company Foundation to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a healthcare environment.

Location: Bellevue, WA – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $250,000 – $400,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy in line with organizational goals
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and governing boards
  • Mentor and lead the Foundation team to promote a collaborative culture
  • Oversee all philanthropic revenue streams, including campaigns and events
  • Manage relationships with major donors and prospects for long-term success
  • Utilize data to track fundraising progress and inform future strategies
  • Ensure effective CRM systems and monitor development budgets

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in nonprofit development and fundraising leadership, preferably in healthcare
  • Proven success in securing significant philanthropic revenue across various funding streams
  • Strong understanding of grants, donor relations, and strategic communications
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and supporting development staff
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and storytelling skills
  • Familiarity with Board dynamics and senior leadership interactions
