POSITION PURPOSE
Spearhead philanthropic efforts, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals andcommunity impactobjectives.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevantadvancementand development experience and ten years relevant experience
Strong general knowledge of development in an organization
Flexibilityto manage various donor development responsibilities
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
Computer proficiency:
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
Build development strategies that support a robust culture of philanthropy and establish lasting relationships with donors, partners, and corporate partners.
Develop and implementinnovativefundraising strategies to meet and exceed annual revenue goals.
Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with prospective and existing donors, with a focus on securing major gifts and legacy contributions.
Manage theadvancementdepartment and employees, as applicable.
Ensure alladvancementand fundraising policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, and operating protocol are in compliance.
Manage and review alladvancementinitiatives and campaigns.
Manage public relations.
Manage day-to-day general business affairs, to include but not be limited to coordination of interaction with vendors, suppliers, service providers, regulatory agencies, donors, and volunteers.
Plan and execute donor relation events.
Required to attend and manageadvancement/donor relationships at all organization events.
Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and financial standards in fundraising activities.
